The two EcoBoost® engine options come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the hybrid engines come with an electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission. The standard hybrid and 1.5-liter EcoBoost engines come standard with front-wheel drive, with available all-wheel drive. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine gets standard all-wheel drive, while the plug-in hybrid powertrain only has front-wheel drive.

Escape Technology & Safety

An eight-inch touchscreen anchors the standard Escape infotainment system. A 13.2-inch touchscreen is available. Standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ make it easy to connect your smartphone to the infotainment system. Six speakers come standard, but you can upgrade to an available 10-speaker Bose® premium sound system.
